A STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO UNDERSTANDING RHYTHM FOR GUITAR
David Mead.

Many guitarists read tab but not notation, but the main problem with tab is that it includes no form of rhythmic information so unless the reader is already familiar with the tune, there is little hope of playing it correctly. This book bridges the gap between tablature and notation. It does not attempt to teach you to read music but rather to recognise and reproduce the rhythm within the musical notation. Hypothetically, anyone who works through Rhythm could buy any other book for the guitar and be able to play music. The accompanying one hour CD contains audio examples of the lessons in the book, with the answers to the assignments set to test your progress.
