Vintage Staggered, for Strat

An exact replica of the original Alnico V Stratocaster® pickups. The same type of magnet wire is used, as well as the same number of coil windings. The staggered rod magnets are hand-ground, then aged by the exclusive Dun-Aged™ process. Lacquered bobbins and waxed cloth braid hook-up wire complete the vintage look. Every detail is included to duplicate the bell-like tone and the high end bite that made the vintage Strat famous. Perfect for players who need accurate traditional single-coil tone, especially with clean and mildly distorted amp settings. Recommended for country, pop, surf, rockabilly, blues, ska and classic rock.

High output true single-coil. Recommended for blues, classic rock, garage, heavy rock, classic metal and nu-metal. description More than twice the power of a traditional single-coil. The result is a fat, punchy sound; similar to a P-90. It’s clean at lower volumes and screamin’ when cranked. The hand polished, quarter-inch diameter magnets are matched with a powerful coil winding to deliver great sustain, making this one of the most popular single-coil pickups. Does not use a cover.

High output true single-coil for a smooth, warm sound. Perfect for Texas blues rock, classic rock and heavy rock.
Though it looks like the SSL-1 and has that distinct vintage tone, the SSL-5’s over-wound coil yields higher output, more sustain and great harmonics. The result is a pickup that rocks hard and cuts through the mix, but cleans up nicely when you back off the volume. Includes white cover.

Vintage '54™ Lead, for Telecaster®

Vintage-correct reproduction of 1954 Tele® lead pickup. Perfect for traditional country, country pop, chicken pickin’, rockabilly, blues, and blues-rock.
Like the 1954 originals, this pickup features standard .187" diameter Alnico 5 pole pieces, raised for the D and G strings. The result is a twangy, bright and biting sound. Compared to the STL-1b, the Vintage ‘54 has slightly reduced output and a bright and biting high-end detail. Comes with waxed cloth hookup cable.

Vintage for Broadcaster

Vintage-correct reproduction of Broadcaster® pickup. Recommended for traditional country, country pop, chicken pickin’, rockabilly, blues, and blues-rock.
The 1948 pre-Telecaster® pickup had an exceptional twangy, "nasal" sound with tremendous sustain. Leo Fender called it the Broadcaster®. The STL-1b duplicates this sought-after vintage sound with larger-diameter (.197") pole pieces in a flat pole piece orientation. Compared to the Vintage ‘54, this pickup has slightly more output and more snarl in the mids. Comes with waxed cloth hookup cable.

Alnico II Pro™ Lead, for Telecaster®

Warm, moderate-output single-coil for Tele®. Great for country, pop, jazz, blues and classic rock.
The sand cast Alnico 2 magnets and moderate windings yield a warm, sweet tone with more natural string vibration for great sustain. Players who get their distortion from the amp rather than the pickup love the Alnico II Pro. It allows them to back off the crunch and get beautiful clean tones with softer attack. Compared to the Vintage ‘54, the Alnico II Pro has a rounder sound with a spongier bass response making it well suited to brighter instruments. Comes with waxed cloth hookup cable.
Combining the rhythm and lead pickups gives the sweet Telecaster sound that inspired the greats.

Jerry Donahue Lead™ for Telecaster®

Well-balanced true single-coil pickup with boosted output. Recommended for traditional country, country pop, blues, and classic rock.
When the "Bendmaster of the Telecaster" needed a touring guitar with the exact same sound as his prized ‘52, he turned to Seymour who accurately duplicated the warm, punchy tone of its lead pickup. Seymour used Alnico 2 rod magnets and a special wind for increased sustain and output. Symmetrically staggered pole pieces mirror the fingerboard radius and assure exceptionally balanced string-to-string response. The result is a traditional, sweet and balanced tone, with high-end detail combined with low-end fatness and punch, and tons o’ twang.
Available in lead (bridge) position only. The APTR-1 is the closest match in the rhythm (neck) position; however Jerry uses an APS-2 Alnico II Pro™ for Strat® in the neck position.
