Seymour Duncan California '50s Set for Strat
(Set contains two SSL-1 pickups and one SSL-1 RW/RP)

This calibrated set upgrades your Strat or similar guitar to the same type of pickups used in the '50s. The tone is as vintage correct as are the materials and construction comprising alnico magnets arranged in staggered pattern. The middle pickup is reverse wound and reverse polarity which eliminates hum in positions 2 and 4 on your five-way selector switch. The tone is familiar and classic (sweet, bell tone with high-end bite and "quack" in the notch positions). It's the sound that gave birth to rock 'n roll - great for blues, classic rock and country.

This is Seymour's favourite duo and is one of the most versatile combinations for a variety of musical styles from hard blues to heavy rock.
The SH-4 JB owes its popularity to over-wound coils which provide high output with just the right amount of sustain and distortion - perfect for searing leads! This pickup is paired with the SH-2n Jazz Model in the neck position which provides a clear bright sound suited to articulate rhythm playing. Together, the pair compliment each other perfectly and are ideal companions!
